Annual Regulations

1. The Host Country for the 27th Junior Balkan Mathematical Olympiad (JBMO 2023) is Albania.
2. The Official Programme begins on 23 June 2023 and ends on 28 June 2023.
3. The Host Organization for JBMO 2023 is the Albanian Mathematical Association (AMA) in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Sport (MAS) and Mathematical Society of South – Eastern Europe (MASSEE).
4. The Contest paper for JBMO 2023 is held on 25 June 2023, so Contestants must have been born on or after 25 December 2007.
5. Applications for Observers to accompanying the participants, specifying the number of Observers, must be made by 13 May 2023. If accepted, payment of €600 per Observer must be made in cleared funds by 23 May 2023.
6. The charge for participation by guest countries is €500 per Contestant and €600 per Leader, Deputy Leader. Payment must be made in cleared funds by 23 May 2023.
7.  Registration of Participants and their travel details must be completed by 13 May 2023.
8. The official arrival and departure sites are Tirana Airport, Contestant Hotel (to be announced), Tirana.
9. Accommodation for Leaders, Deputy Leaders and Observers will be in double rooms. A limited number of single rooms is available for €200 extra charge. Accommodation for Contestants will be at least in double rooms; accommodation in single rooms for Contestants is not available.
10. Proposals for problems must be sent to the Albanian Mathematical Association, Chair JBMO2016 Problem Selection Committee, at  [email protected]  and [email protected] to arrive by 23 May 2023.
